We have provided funding to WVI to support the training of wildlife vets and field biologists & undertake research particularly in “new” diseases that are having an impact on conservation efforts. We also recently provided funding to support a workshop to train Indonesian and Malaysian vets locally in disease surveillance techniques [especially canine distemper virus which the recent research initiatives have now shown can affect large cat species - eg leopards & tigers - in many parts of Asia].
